Case study: Slipped Disc
Case 1: D.F 27 years old builder, he had severe lower back pain and shooting pain down to left leg for two months, difficult to walk and bend, can’t working. MRI spine scan text show: L4/5, there is disk dehydration and there is a left posterolateral disk extrusion with compression and displacement of descending left L 5 nerve root.
He was diagnosed with Prolapsed Disc,and treated with pain-killer, Physiotherapy, Chiropractor, Epidural Treatment, after all this failed to work, the hospital recommended surgery, but he not willing to go, so he came to me.
I gave him Tui Na Medical Massage, Cupping and Acupuncture, after 3 session he was much better. We carried treatment for two month, he was fully recovered, he go back to his formal job and feeling ok.
Case study: Lower Back Pain
Case 2: M.D is a 37 years old male, he had constantly lower back pain for 12 years. The pain was caused by a Rugby injury which he had a big clash with other player. Since then the pain never disappeared.
He had different treatment, included Physiotherapy, Osteopath, Chiropractor and Acupuncture, but all didn’t work.
When I examined him, I found his pain mainly located between the L4/5 inter-spine.
I diagnosed him with Inter-Spine Ligament Injury. The caused of this injury is: when the spine had a sudden big compact, the ligament that between the two inter-spine was caught in unprepared, then damaged. Because the blood circulation there is very poor, it’s very difficult to heal on itself, also all other treatment included Acupuncture are very difficult to reach there.
I used a special Acupuncture treatment, after one month treatment, the pain that he suffered for 12 years disappeared completely.
Case study: Whiplash/Neck Pain/Shoulder Pain
Case 3: H.K is a 39 years old taxi driver, he had a whiplash in a car accident 7 years ago. Since then he got shoulder pain, neck pain, the neck’s movement was restricted, he found it difficult to look the mirror in the car. He had lots different treatment, but with very little help. When I examined him,I found his neck and shoulder’s muscle feels like solid rock.
I used strong Tui Na massage, hot moving Cupping, Acupuncture treatment. He could notice the different after first session. After 10 sessions, his shoulder and neck had no pain, got 90% of neck movement back.
Note: Whiplash not only damage muscle, it’s also damage tendon, ligament, cartilage, and joint. Compared with other treatment, the combination of Acupuncture, Cupping, Tui na Massage, Herbal Medicine Treatment are very effective for this types of injury.
Case study: Frozen Shoulder
Case 4: P.R is a 52 years old female, she worked in the kitchen. When she came to me, she had bad shoulder pain, she had restricted shoulder movement, could not lift her arm, or undress her shirt.
I used a special technique that combine the Acupuncture and Tui na massage in same time. After the first treatment, she already could dress herself, I also taught her the self-exercise to do at home. After 5 session, the pain disappeared, and the movement become normal.
Note: I have been treating many frozen shoulder for last 20 years, Acupuncture and Tui Na had a good result for frozen Shoulder. Last year I came cross a new Tui Na technique from a Chinese medicine journal, when I put it into test, it really increased the success rate, you always can learn something new.
